Hi, I’m Barry Keegan. If you’ve landed on this page, you’re probably curious about our name, how Keenlii got started, and maybe even a bit about who I am.

For as long as I can remember, friends, colleagues, and clients have described me as enthusiastic, passionate, and eager—keen. When I started this venture, that word kept coming up in conversations with people I trust. As I stepped into the world of entrepreneurship, “keen” felt like the perfect reflection of my energy and drive.

But Keenlii is more than just a nod to enthusiasm. It reflects how we work with our clients—keen to understand their goals, keen to support their success, and keen to help them grow—faster. From local non-profits to global businesses in Canada, the US, and the UK, our approach is always personal, focused, and tailored to your goals. It’s as simple as that.

Our Experience

Keenlii helps clients market smarter across the U.S., U.K., and Canada. As a content-marketing and creative agency, we’ve worked with organizations such as the American Cancer Society and Carleton University, as well as creative projects like the podcasts Watch World with Faye, Serious Coin and the Eloquent Entrepreneur.

Under my direction, one American Cancer Society campaign achieved a 500% jump in engagement across Facebook and Instagram—proof that smart content connects people to purpose.

Before founding Keenlii, I spent nearly two decades in marketing and communications with brands including Scotiabank, the MS Society of Canada, MDS Nordion, and United Way. In roles such as Director of Communications at United Way, I led teams in building campaigns that combined strategy and storytelling across video, print, and digital formats.

Today

We continue that same focus at Keenlii—combining human insight and AI tools to help clients make better marketing decisions, faster. Our work spans strategy, creativity, and automation, helping small teams achieve big results with precision and confidence.
